FAILURE ANALYSIS - WATER INGRESS

Following multiple internal attempts to resolve the issue, I was assigned to investigate the causes of water ingress in a sealed industrial sensor. This sensor, exposed to vibration while operating in a water-saturated environment, was critical to the system’s functionality.
Through a detailed failure analysis, which included examining the vibration spectrum, I identified key issues and proposed minor modifications that eliminated the ingress problem. This solution ensured the sensor’s long-term reliability and performance.
